Artist Statement
The nature of my art practice is rooted in observation, curiosity, and connection. It is both a reflective process and a communicative one—an exploration of how material, form, and surface can express the relationships that exist within the natural world and between living systems.

My primary concern is the investigation of ecology and interdependence, particularly the symbiotic relationships between plants, animals, and their environments. Working in clay, I move between functional and sculptural forms, using the vessel as a central mode of expression. The vessel serves as a site where utility, metaphor, and material converge.

I am drawn to the vessel for its capacity to embody connection and exchange. Like ecological systems, vessels hold, contain, and sustain, reflecting cycles of growth, support, and transformation. Through clay, I seek to create objects that invite contemplation of the unseen networks that bind us to the natural world.
